Benefits Information and Referral

SVILC provides information and referral in the areas of disability benefits, benefits analysis, and work incentive programs. Resources on the preparation of Plans to Achieve Self-Support (PASS) and returning to work are also available.

SVILC is now partnering with the Center for Independence of the Disabled in Belmont to provide Benefits Counseling Services to work-ready Consumers. A Community Work Incentive Coordinator (CWIC) is available to meet with Consumers who receive Social Security benefits and want to work. The CWIC offers information on how work might change benefits and informs Consumers of choices available to them. For more information on these services, please contact SVILC's Main Office at 408.894.9041 or TTY at 408.894.9012.
