Individuals, businesses, and community agencies are encouraged to take advantage of SVILC's specialized services. These services are available for purchase;
please contact us for current rates.
Specialized services include:
  • ADA Expertise- Specialists educated in the Americans with Disabilities Act serve as resources for business planning and education.
  • Braille Services- Conversion of print documents into this alternative format is offered.
  • Independent Living Philosophy Training- Instruction on the history, evolution, and current ideals surrounding the independent living philosophy is available.
  • Interpretation Services- A certified American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter can be arranged for meetings and community events. Interpretation services in Signing Exact English (SEE), Pigeon Signed English (PSE), and Tactile and Rochester Signing are also available.
